About Matteo di Michele

Matteo Di Michele is a global technology and operations executive with 20 years of international experience across a variety of functions and disciplines such as law, finance, supply chain management, and environmental sustainability. He is also a pioneer in the field of Artificial Intelligence Ethics and author of the 2023 best-selling book Artificial Intelligence: Ethics - Risks - Opportunities.Matteo is originally from Italy and has lived in the U.S. since 2002. He received his Juris Doctor (JD) Degree in Milan with a doctoral dissertation on the international protection of human rights. After his experience working as a contract law attorney with a large telecommunications company, Matteo moved to Arizona where he held various executive positions with the Cosanti Foundation, an internationally renowned nonprofit educational organization dedicated to sustainable architecture and ethical urban development. Matteo currently works at Bank of America as Artificial Intelligence Global Compliance and Operational Risk Executive. He also continues to hold a leadership role with the Cosanti Foundation as Board Director and Chairman of the Board.Matteo’s continuing education includes an MBA in Supply Chain and Operations Management from Arizona State University and several executive programs at top universities across Europe and the US, including UC Davis, the University of Michigan, Harvard Law, and MIT.
