Provide Planning Department support via in-house planning services at Wixom and Oxford Township as well as supplemental support to Tyrone Township, White Lake Township and Ypsilanti. Draft zoning ordinances for review and approval by Planning Commissions and Municipal Boards. Provide full range Master Plan and Economic Development services. Lead pre-application meetings, preliminary site plan reviews and final site plan reviews to ensure clear understanding of client processes, expectations and code compliance.Assist municipalities with the creation and administration of various Tax Increment Financing Authoritiesas well as all support documentation such as development plans, mapping, capture estimates and eligible projects. Work with clients to conduct market studies and pro-forma analysis on public and private developable land to aid economic development. Lead and/or assist in the RFQ/P drafting, community engagement and overall approval for development projects- Zoning Ordinance drafting including signage, special land uses, and renewable energy- Site Plan reviews including but not limited to medical marijuana, foster home care, and planned unit developments.
