ABOUT MATTEO GRECO
Hi, I’m Matteo. Born and raised in Italy, I earned a Bachelor\'s Degree in Economics from the University of Pisa before moving to Scotland to complete a Master\'s in Financial Technology at the University of Stirling. It was during this time that my passion for Web3, blockchain technology, and cryptocurrencies truly took off. Since late 2020, I’ve been fully immersed in the digital asset space, exploring everything from traditional cryptocurrencies and DeFi to CeFi, NFTs, and beyond. What started as a deep curiosity has turned into a career, allowing me to continuously expand my expertise in this fast-moving industry. I began my professional journey as a research analyst focusing on crypto. Over time, I broadened my knowledge of the TradFi space and its intersection with digital assets, developing a particular expertise in ETPs with digital assets as underlying. I was also part of the team that successfully launched the first-ever DeFi-focused crypto ETP in January 2025, a groundbreaking product allocating part of its portfolio to DeFi protocols.
