Presently serving as a Doctoral Researcher at the Fraunhofer Institute (IVV) and member of the Marie Sklodowska-Curie ITN program \"RASOPTA\". My research investigates the intricate relationships between aquaculture feeds, aquaculture water, and off-flavour compounds across various species cultivated in recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS). I am dedicated to formulating alternative sustainable feeds aimed at enhancing the flavour of aquaculture products. Furthermore, I employ in-depth olfactometric and spectrometric methodologies to analyze the origins and pathways of biological absorption of xenobiotic volatile organic compounds in farmed fish, with a specific emphasis on promoting fish welfare.
