ABOUT MATTEO CALDERA
MS in Mechanical Engineering and Ph.D. in Energy Engineering earned at Politecnico di Torino. Visiting Ph.D. candidate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is currently an ENEA senior researcher. He previously worked as research assistant at the Department of Energy and collaborated with the Metrology Lab of the Department of Electronics at PoliTO. He also worked for Cantene S.r.l where he specialized in feasibility studies and in the development of energy efficiency strategies. Scientific coordinator of RECON Simulator and ENEA\'s Observatory on Energy Communities. Main research topics cover:* renewable energy communities;* smart homes & buildings;* numerical modelling and optimization;* energy efficiency in integrated energy systems;* cogeneration;* district heating systems;* experimental tests on PM emission abatement systems for biomass boilers.
