   This strategic position has merged and provided leadership of two staff teams – Alumni Volunteer Engagement as well as Student/Young Alumni Engagement. This leadership position oversees a team of six staff, more than 250 affiliate groups, high-level volunteer relationship management, as well as direct relationships through the University’s administration.• Lead a strategic overhaul of the Association’s affiliate group membership redesign through messaging, training, and execution.• Managed the merger of two established staff teams to a coordinated University volunteer-lifecycle approach to engagement.• Partners with University Development professionals on recognition and prospect identification for major gift fundraising.• Maintains relationships with each of Penn State’s 38 academic units as well as relationships with other University partners including leadership teams at Athletics, Student Affairs, Parent Philanthropy, and Board of Trustees.• Guides the strategic direction of the Association’s governing body through committee engagement, volunteer training and support, as well as overall governance process.• Selected and completed competitive leadership course offered to five staff in a team of more than 600 Penn State alumni and development professionals focusing on scaling leadership principles.
