ABOUT MATT STEPHENS

I am a graduate from the University of Western Ontario where I obtained a Bachelor\'s degree in Management and Organizational Studies (BMOS). During these 4 years I was exposed to a variety of courses that provided me with an excellent foundation in business fundamentals.While in university, I held the title of marketing manager for The London Tap House. In this position I developed a collection of advertising and promotional strategies which were used to increase revenue as well as brand awareness among clientele. In addition to marketing, my responsibilities were diversified among sales, event planning and management, customer service, and bartending.Shortly after graduation, I continued with my passion for marketing as a field marketing representative with GMR Marketing. Representing a variety of brands including Gillette, Best Buy, and VISA, I developed the adaptability to engage consumers with creative and innovative sales pitches to promote positive awareness resulting in increased sales at surrounding businesses.Previously employed with Central Technology Services Corporation, I worked as an administrative sales support associate. Through various marketing mediums, including brochures, vendor quick selling guides, customer facing product briefs, and customer testimonials, I played an instrumental role in influencing prospective client purchasing behaviour.I am currently employed with NetApp.I am both a Canadian and U.S. citizen, therefore having the legal right to travel and work in both Canada and the United States of America.Specialties: Sales | Data Storage | Data Management | Cloud | Strategy | Finance | Marketing | Operations
