Daikin Applied is a $3B segment of Daikin, the world’s largest Heating, Air Conditioning and Ventilation provider.At DAA, I am blessed with the opportunity to be responsible for a small team that covers several of the most disrupted components in HVAC. Together, we’ve executed a series of strategic plans to dual source the products, reduce the lead time by more than 50%, claw back more cost than we gave during COVID, drop PPM to below 500, and most importantly, to return delivery performance to normal. The cross functional strategic cooperation for this initiative differentiates Daikin as an organization.Looking ahead, we are using a similarly strategic approach to continue our dramatic growth trajectory addressing regulatory changes with segment leading products and services, and I have an important role in setting a sustainable strategy for the future with critical components.
