About Matt Cuttino

From a young age, I\'ve been a risk taker and creative builder. This has taken me on a journey of domestic and international travel (including becoming a pilot), small wooden and electronic projects to rebuilding a starter home, and experience with companies of varying sizes. This experience includes a startup becoming established, a medium business growing, and a corporation with established brands.If you know me, you know I love efficiency. I get a thrill out of taking a risk to drive changes and remove barriers and frustrations for greater effectiveness in inefficient and stagnant systems.I have experience in all stages of the product lifecycle with mechanical and digital products. This allows me to both lead teams in innovative development and communicate complex and cutting-edge ideas to make them clear and exciting. I believe teams are most effective when they feel appreciated, assisted, and understood. That is why I work hard to enable a culture of strong collaboration while leveraging personal gifts. I strive to communicate the \"what\" and \"why\" in actionable ways with room for individual expertise and creativity to drive the \"how\".

   Dec 2024 — Present · Charlotte, NC, US

   Own product strategy, development priorities, and global rollout of Xylem\'s core AI platform across employees in 55 countries. Launched to the first region within 6 months of development start.• Define how Xylem\'s global workforce experiences AI through the platform by determining what gets prioritized, built, and delivered to users. Achieved 33% login adoption and 10% weekly active usage among onboarded employees in the first two months of platform availability.• Navigate complex regulatory and works council approvals across Europe, Singapore, and China (GDPR, EU AI Act, PDPA, and PIPL) to expand the platform to Xylem\'s global workforce.• Pioneered the AI Champions program, growing the initiative from an idea to an organization-wide network driving adoption and responsible AI use.
