About Matthew Cleveland

I began my career as a professional fundraiser in 2004. I am currently the Chief Development Officer for the Arkansas Sheriffs\' Youth Ranches, a statewide residential group foster care program that provides homes for children who have been abandoned, abused and neglected. I am a Past President of the Arkansas Chapter of Association of Fundraising Professionals, where I served in multiple capacities for more than 12 years. Throughout my career in development and marketing with nonprofits, I have worked to raise funds and awareness for the missions of organizations I\'ve served. Whether working with arts and cultural institutions or human services organizations, my goal has been to create stronger, healthier communities for the people of Arkansas. I have a broad base of nonprofit experience which includes managing fundraising, marketing, public relations, and membership efforts. I work to develop relationships with donors, patrons, members, volunteers, sponsors, and general public audiences through personal solicitation, direct mail, special events, social media, and stewardship. I also have experience in strategic planning, grant writing, database administration, and sales.I am a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University and received a master\'s degree in non-profit administration from LSUS. I live in Searcy with my wife, Kim, and our three children, Allison, Dylan, and Ellie.
