Investigate merchant & personal accounts conducting suspected FinCrimes via Square & Cash App services & report suspicious activity to FinCEN & other international regulators. Notable Contributions:• Organization & coordination with compliance engineering, tooling, & data teams to maintain & manage outstanding Jira tickets. • Manage & align strategic risk-based outsourcing SAR projects, including procedural & methodology changes to decrease & clear SAR & TM case backlogs.• Create, format, & distribute an approaching SLA Looker report, which prevents aged SAR investigation cases from becoming overdue, especially those distributed to Cash App’s contractor team in mass.• Selected to beta test a new internal SAR form & case management system, & provide the engineering team feedback, improvements, & blockers, as well as be the point of contact to onboard & train the systems to the rest of the SAR team.• Created & managed specialized Looker reports to distribute weekly caseload of high priority & typology initiatives more efficiently to both the internal Cash App SAR team & the third-party contractor team.• Subject matter expert for the Cash App SAR program to provide shadows & insight to critical internal compliance operational teams including SAR, TM, PMs, customer management, strategic operations, & strategic projects, as well as external vendors for third-party contracting & compliance cases management.
