The Pennsylvania Wing of the Civil Air Patrol adopted the crisis communication plan he developed during his tenure, enabling them to effectively communicate vital information to the public in a timely manner during crisis situations statewide.Outside of work he is a licensed amateur radio operator and runs the MattCoversTech YouTube channel, highlighting emergency communications and technology.
