If you\'ve ever seen a conference talk by a guy in a wizard hat, that was probably me. If not, I will send you the link and you can learn how Dungeons and Dragons isn\'t so different from software development. Seriously!I like seeing how the work I do impacts people. Having built the software used for the CyberThreat Capture The Flag competitions, being able to see the looks on the competing hackers\' faces as they saw another team\'s laser show go off was fantastic. My trust and safety experience may have less immediately flashy impact (though the photos I’ve seen would dispute that), but knowing my work matters is important.I\'ve previously been described as a \"technical octopus\" with eight arms all coordinating different teams in projects working towards the same goal
