About Matt Zimmers

Ever since I can remember, I have been obsessed with learning and solving problems. In particular, I\'ve always been fascinated with technology and what people can build with it. It was only a matter of time before I stumbled across my first programming language, Lua, when I was 10 years old. For a few years, I experimented with game development and accumulated over 1 million plays. This was a formative experience that demonstrated to myself that I could independently learn and use abstract concepts, unafraid of the initial foreignness and magnitude of the challenge.I have since earned a Bachelor\'s degrees in both Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I continue to seek out smart and fun ways to solve problems, especially when I can utilize new developments in CS as a learning exercise.

   My main responsibility was to help facilitate the onboarding of new customers onto our order management solution, which provides powerful machine learning tools to help automate the processing of purchase orders. We work closely with the customer to determine the software customizations necessary to create orders in their ERP and to minimize/eliminate the amount of \"touches\" an order needs from a validator.
