ABOUT MATT WILSON

I am a collaborative, results-oriented, Product professional passionate about creating value through exceptional experiences. I love working on teams where we tackle challenging problems with a tangible positive impact. My experience includes 0 to 1 (concept to launch), revitalizing and extending valuable legacy platforms, and creating hyperscale cloud solutions. I\'ve taken products from zero to 7-figures of ARR in a year and scaled from 8- to 9-figures, primarily at startups covering B2B, B2C, SaaS, and on premise. My diverse background, technical skillset, curiosity, and openness make me well-suited to working across departments, boundaries, and domains.Over the past two decades, I have been involved with multiple successful commercial software products, both as an individual contributor writing code and as the Product Manager overseeing execution of strategic goals. I understand successful teams must be empowered to undertake valuable activities beyond simple feature delivery. I also know the importance of deep understanding and empathy for customers and users. I truly enjoy uncovering their needs, pain points, and goals and then using these insights to create better products.My open, honest approach to life and work allows me to excel in cross-functional groups and work seamlessly across business units. My passion for Product Management drives me to share knowledge with anyone eager to learn, be that an individual I mentor or an entire organization.
