ABOUT MATT WILSON
I am an experienced acoustician with over 10 years practice in both Acoustic consultancy and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). I am a full member of the Institute of Acoustics (MIOA) and specialise in measurement and assessment of environmental noise and vibration. I have undertaken the IOA post graduate diploma at University of Salford. I am experienced at using computer noise modelling software including CadnaA, and SoundPlan, and have undertaken noise surveys with a variety of sound level meters including RION, Vibrock, Svantek, Norsonic and Cirrus. I work with a range of clients in the planning, housing, education, construction and transportation sectors and have a wide variety of projects experience. I utilise a variety of assessment methodologies to undertake assessment for that would comply with the industry standards including BS4142, BS8233, CRTN, ETSU R97 and BS5228. The Miller Goodall Acoustics team specialises in: Noise and Vibration monitoring, computer noise modelling, site suitability assessments, planning application support, construction noise assessment, internal noise predictions, barrier mitigation and internal partition design.
