How I got obsessed with pitch decks: The first time I made a pitch deck, I was a founder raising money. It was terrible. I made dense, complex slides like I was still a consultant at BCG. We raised some money, but it was way harder than it needed to be. I was working at a venture studio, and other founders kept asking for my help. I stayed up all night making decks. Eventually, I made a good one.
