About Matt Tomamichel
As a 23-year veteran in retail and the sneaker industry, I’ve grown from being a Sales Associate at a local Footaction to becoming one of the Midwest\'s most well known and respected business owners. With 16 years of ownership under my belt, I’m looking to continue growing and become even better with time as the Owner of Corporate. Outside of Corporate, I look to connect my community with future opportunities via our non-profit: Bigger Than Sneakers. I believe that my significance will be achieved through others\' success around me, which is what we aim to do with the nonprofit\'s initiatives, programs, and events. In 2018, to reflect my love for community engagement & sneakers, I co-founded Bigger Than Sneakers - a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that showcases the larger ecosystem surrounding sneaker culture. Through youth focused initiatives & programs, events, and mentorship, we aim to inspire and empower the leaders of tomorrow. As of Fall 2021, I had been voted to serve as the organization\'s President of the Board. I look forward to building our youth initiatives, leading us into the future, and exploring what BTS can lend to our communities.
