I\'m a software engineer with experience using large data systems to produce scientific insight and apply machine learning algorithms to solve business needs. I\'m able to work independently, lead teams, and solve my own problem in order to get the job done. Reproducibility, as-simple-as-possible systems, shallow bugs, and learning quickly are my favorite things.In a former life, I was research studying Inertial Confinement Fusion (ICF). My academic research covered charged particle transport, fusion ignition, ICF target design, and building automation tools to accelerate research. I had additional interests in fostering effective, modern computational techniques among scientists.
