ABOUT MATT TAYLOR

Licensed Nursing Home Administrator with over 11 years of experience. While running five SNF in rural areas, I have acquired a well-rounded skill set. I am passionate about providing the best care to patients while being a strong leader for my team. While in Susanville running a SNF, the roof was literally blown off the building in a storm. I safely and successfully evacuated all of the residents (60) to the county disaster relief location. I worked side by side with county disaster relief team in making sure the resident care was maintained while evacuated, and oversaw the planning and quick return of each resident when the building was deemed safe. This is just one example of my unique but valuable experiences that have shaped me into a skilled Administrator and leader. My professional goal has been to improve the quality of care of the patient. I have been successful obtaining this goal because of my compassionate demeanor and drive for excellence. I have encouraged my staff to connect to each patient as individuals, and through consistent training on topics like change, culture, and superior customer service, our team has accomplished great things together. I believe that meeting and succeeding financial objectives follow excellent quality of care. Previous to finding my long-term career as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, I was an Account Executive for over 7 years with experienced in all aspects of Performance Based Marketing (Affiliate Marketing). I acquired new business, oversaw negotiations, and delivered results. I am not only a team leader, but also a team player. I work hard for success and enjoying the challenge of obtaining my goals.
