ABOUT MATT SPINK

With over 12 years of executive leadership experience, currently within the maritime industry, I am a seasoned and strategic leader who oversees the global operations and service business unit at Northrop Grumman Sperry Marine, a leading provider of navigation solutions for the commercial and defence sectors. I am passionate about delivering excellence, innovation, and value to our customers, partners, suppliers, and stakeholders, while managing a diverse and talented team of ~200 employees across 15 countries. I hold an Executive MBA from the University of Bath, studied for a BA in Politics & Government as an undergraduate at the University of Kent, have an Associate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply, and PM qualifications from the University of California. I am committed to continuous learning and professional development, both throughout my teams and personally. As the Global Operations & Service BU Director, I am responsible for generating ~50% of the company\'s revenue and operating margin, with projected sales of $50m+ in 2023. I lead the service engineering teams, supply chain management, manufacturing & production engineering, logistics & warehousing, sales and customer support teams, and previously also oversaw physical and cyber security, facilities management, travel and IT.
