Manager, planner, logistician and leader with a proven track record within the military, sport and Oil & Gas sectors in diverse worldwide locations and environments. Meticulous, organised, proactive and hardworking operator with extensive experience of planning and budgeting complex projects and successfully delivering results. • LEADERSHIP – Commanded 50 soldiers as an Army Officer on operations in the Middle East. Led business change and recovery as General Manager of the world’s oldest ski club, increasing turnover by over 500% within 3 years, and winning the British National Champion Club title for the first time in 20 years.• MANAGEMENT – Project and programme management experience. Ability to establish processes and procedures that allow multiple projects within various programmes to be successfully executed, achieving short and long term goals. PRINCE2 and APMP qualified. • PLANNING & SCHEDULING – Controlled the readiness checking and scheduling of all construction and maintenance activities on a £120M pa Oil & Gas project.• ADMINISTRATION – Managed the administration, welfare, discipline and career development of 100 soldiers as an Army Officer, and of over 20 ski racing coaches as a General Manager.• TRAINING – Design and delivery of military training programmes, ensuring soldiers readiness for operational deployments. Head coach of ski racing programmes for over 100 athletes, achieving success at national and international levels.• SPORT – National ski team athlete representing GBR and Scotland for 5 years. Military ski racing champion and winner of a lifetime achievement award for services to military sport. 5 times Ironman triathlon finisher and enthusiastic amateur tennis player.
