About Matt Scimeca

Making people happy has always motivated me. From the time I was young I watched my father helping people become homeowners as a real estate agent. I knew even then that I wanted to follow in my father’s footsteps, change lives, and help families build generational wealth through homeownership. As a mortgage loan officer, I am able to work hand in hand with real estate agents like my father to guide buyers through the mortgage process. I especially enjoy working with athletes and their families. Throughout college and beyond I have found great satisfaction in my sports related hobbies. And being a mortgage financing expert helps me to give back to some of the players I’ve had the pleasure of meeting in a tangible and meaningful way. Through the years I have refereed amateur, semi-pro and collegiate soccer. I have also been a professional sports mascot - Beginning with a couple of years in college as The Blue Demon mascot from DePaul University. I am particularly proud of my mascot work with The White Sox and the Chicago Bears. Accompanying pro players on visits to hospital cancer wards has provided me with an opportunity to make a positive impact in my community and beyond. I feel blessed to enjoy a vocation that allows me to meet, inspire and help interesting people from all walks of life to make their dream of home ownership a reality. As I continue to build my career, I’d love to connect with agents and potential home buyers who share my passion for sports, helping others and giving back.
