CancerStrong was established in 2017 with five original board members. The company’s sole focus is to create a community and social network of survivors, caregivers, supporters and advocates to be the voice for anyone touched by cancer. The platform is designed to be used in a multitude of ways, particularly to match users going through similar situations with each other. The goal: to take away the feelings of isolation and in turn unite and empower users. Users are able to instantaneously connect with others, regardless of geography to form support groups, chat with those going through similar situations, host & attend fundraisers, and also encourage and learn from one another.
