Assists the Chief of Staff and Cook County Board President with the oversight of Cook County Health and Hospital Systems (CCHHS) strategic direction and operational effectiveness. Serves as the primary liaison to CCHHS and provides recommendations to ensure alignment between CCHHS’s policies, programs and other executive functions and the administration’s priorities at the federal, state, and local level. Works directly with CCHHS management staff to effectively utilize appropriated funds and to coordinate approaches to problem solving whenever necessary.
