ABOUT MATT RICHARDS

I am currently a senior majoring in Political Science at Haverford College, where I also play varsity lacrosse, lead the student investment portfolio, and act in school theatre productions. When I am home for school breaks I work at a local bar, the Surf Club. I interned at RBC Capital Markers last summer, and before that as a legislative intern on the Hill. Previously, I also worked at The Herald Group, a communications and issue advocacy firm in Washington, DC. Prior to my time there, I worked for Kimbell & Associates as a year-long Government Affairs Intern throughout my gap year. During my internship I helped the 6 full-time lobbyists and 5 healthcare policy experts provide legislative, regulatory and policy solutions to clients in the life sciences community. Additionally, I was sent to two swing states, North Carolina and Georgia, to survey voters on behalf of the firm. At St. George\'s I held a 4.0 GPA while playing Varsity Football (captain), Hockey, and Lacrosse (captain). Summer 2019 I stayed with a host family in Paris while working as a business intern for InDerm, a french cosmetic company. During my time at St. George\'s I was a prefect, the head of the writing lab, french lab, and the admission tour guide program. I was also inducted into the French Honors Society, and awarded the Allen Prize, Centennial Prize, and the Powel Cup at graduation.
