I enjoy working and being able to make a difference to the local community here in Gloucestershire, it\'s an absolute privilege to work alongside some incredible healthcare professionals and the wider hospice family. Since joining the team in 2016 I\'ve developed some fantastic relationships with local individuals and businesses across the county and look forward to developing many more in the years to come. My main focus is managing the event programme for Gloucestershire\'s only inpatient hospice and developing local and national relationships (with individuals and businesses) to support the work of the hospice across Gloucestershire and Sue Ryder nationally across the UK. The event portfolio for Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice includes mass participation events like Ride for Ryder and Starlight Hike as well as corporate events like our annual Winter Ball. In addition I also work on charity partnerships with third party events like Run Cheltenham and the London Marathon, both generate a significant amount of awareness and vital funds on an annual basis for the hospice. My background comes from event management in the UK, Europe, Asia and the Southern Hemisphere. I have experience specialising in the delivery of high profile corporate events and sports travel tours. I’ve worked hundreds of events/tours, including nine 6 Nations, nine Autumn International series, multiple Hong Kong Sevens, two Rugby World Cups and three British & Irish Lions tours (NZ 2005, SA 2009 & Aus 2013 - so I\'ve got the hatrick and finished on a win). Expertise in building and maintaining relationships, sponsorship account management, contract negotiation, budget management, customer service, event planning and delivery.
