ABOUT MATT PETERSEN

As a sales professional, I have always been passionate about building and maintaining lasting relationships while providing superior added value to my customers and team in any market I do business.Working with James Hardie Building Products has allowed me the opportunity to work with numerous professionals along the commercial building chain. Different hats must be worn when engaging Architects, General Contractors, Builders, Dealers and any number of construction professionals and consultants along the way. Each project has its own combination of factors to make it successful. In my role, I help each stage of production advance their interests while being mindful of the next step. My background in the tradeshow industry (marketing and sales) as well as garbage and recycling has provided me the background to become a sales leader on my regional and national teams. I enjoy nurturing professional relationships with my customers to better engage current and future projects. I also have a passion for being a mentor to all internal teams I’m involved with. James Hardie encourages my desire to build a fulfilling career of hard work and recognition through an expectation of performance and celebration of big wins.
