ABOUT MATT PEATY

Working for Real Estate Management (UK) Ltd to continually develop their great health, safety and wellbeing journey in high profile property development and asset management services in London. The Shard, Shard Quarter, News Building, Park House, Shard Place and 48 Pall Mall are all premium commercial and residential real estate, which require pragmatic and focused risk management.Providing advice, support and passion within the senior leadership team, I firmly believe in continuous improvement and focusing energy and time on our people and innovation. Demonstrating empathy, resilience and care towards others within your grasp is a vital quality that I feel is now more important than qualification and experience alone.I have managed H&S, QSHE and Compliance teams over the last 14 years and always aimed to ensure that our people develop, enjoy their role, and have the freedom to be curious and ask \'why\'?Previously, I was QSHEC Director with the Salisbury Group, responsible to the Exec and Board for leading and directing the UK Group Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental compliance and assurance.Chartered to CMIOSH (2011) with NEBOSH Diploma (Distinction), NEBOSH Construction, NEBOSH General Certs, IEMA, Tall Building Fire Safety, and P405 Asbestos Certificates.Specialties: Engaging Executive and the Board on the health, safety, environmental and wellness journey. HSE Corporate Property Management, Construction, FM and People H&S. More recently, I have led on overall Corporate Risk Management within the business.Externally: I have worked with the London Property H&S Forum, sat on the Considerate Constructors Scheme Client Group, spoken at IOSH events, and attend the London Met branch of IOSH.
