Matt Orlando is a six term council member for the city of Chandler. Matt has the unique experience of serving on the council when the city was the fastest growing community in the nation and served during the past recession. During his tenure as a Council Member, he supported and led many activities and initiatives that benefitted and “laid the foundation” for Chandler and its quality of life that the residents and business owners enjoy today - specifically Police; Fire; Parks and Recreation programs; neighborhood enhancement programs; and economic development opportunities. Through the years, Matt has developed a strong trust with his constituents. Matt was a small business owner and worked in large corporations and small companies and understands their needs for infrastructure, an educated employee base, transportation corridors and first rate public safety. Recently, Matt retired from Honeywell. In his final role as the Director of Technical Sales, he was responsible for a $350M product portfolio. He led a world-wide sales and business team of 26 people and directed successful business ventures in the United States and international markets.
