ABOUT MATT ONEILL
I have always been interested in plant culture, project management, landscape ecology and customer relations. Being able to work every day with those interests in mind is truly great. Focusing on customers’ needs and matching up those needs with our services comes as second nature. I thoroughly enjoy working with clients to understand what they want to see in their landscapes, and translating those needs into action. My experience as a manager coupled with natural leadership ability has proven valuable time and again, as shown through promotability and versatility in the industry. As the Operations Manager and Safety Officer, I had been responsible for many aspects of branch management including: budgeting, sales, customer service, quality assurance, planning and forecasting, safety training, compliance, pesticide training, driver training, accident reporting and filing insurance claims. Over the years, I have developed strong and long-standing relationships with property managers, facility managers, vendors and fellow landscape professionals. These relationships have proven very beneficial over the years. I have had other landscape professionals seek me out to join me at TruGreen, and facility managers, property managers and vendors have sought to continue working relationships throughout the years. An emphasis of ‘doing the right thing’ and a strong sense of business ethics has made these relationships bullet-proof.
