I was tasked with building a team responsible for producing customized tire inventory solutions for individual Car Dealerships, and maintaining that inventory via VMI (vendor managed inventory) processes and practices. I acquired/hired staff and now lead a team of 3 direct / 7 indirect reports in support of our VMI program. During my leadership, two of my directs have been promoted to other internal roles within the company.The VMI program has grown 2x in under 3 years, in terms of tire units ordered automatically each year. Consistent focus on process improvement and efficiency has yielded a 2.5x improvement in my team\'s capacity, measured by the number of Dealerships we are able to actively support.
