I act as primary contact between our office and the Client and I am responsible for effectively managing projects from concept through design, bidding, negotiation, and construction administration. My primary responsibility is for the approval and oversight of MEP design and construction documents including signing and sealing of documents as Engineer of Record. I interface with the Client to understand their needs and goals, write and track proposals for work, coordinate with Senior Management staff and Design Discipline Managers to lead, organize, and schedule design team staff, to document meetings and telephone conservations, to provide quality control to ensure Clients’ needs and requests have been accommodated and to ensure coordination among all of the disciplines involved including outside consultants, to manage project billings and assist in collections, to manage construction administration activities including technical support during document bidding and construction, site visits, submittal and shop drawing reviews, and commissioning
