Leading all legal matters for the U.S. Army Multi-Domain Task Force, an element with the explicit mission of incorporating advanced technology into all “domains” (e.g, land, space, cyberspace, and sea); partnered with Australian and UK units in support of regional security. Sole lawyer (doing the work of a team structured to be 3 lawyers and 5 paralegals) for the Army’s highest priority experimental unit; provided legal support to ~1,400 military members dispersed across the region. Providing legal advice, planning support, and risk identification to senior executives and cross-functional teams in support of dozens of exercises, cyber activities, sensitive military operations, and information operations – both deliberate efforts and no-notice crisis-response. Developing and managing a compliance regime for intelligence activities and novel applications of both publicly available and commercially-available data (geographic and collateral telemetry data), as well as contracting and fiscal law, privacy, ethics, and internal investigations.
