Reporting to the CTO, lead 12 architects in two teams, one responsible for infrastructure and all technology, the other enterprise architects aligned with agencies and focused on application portfolio management, business processes, strategies and roadmaps using a TOGAF 10 framework.* Technical areas of responsibility include security, cloud, automation, telecom, voice/video, network, storage and data protection. Application areas of responsibility include identity, artifacts, data, AI/ML, integration and APIs and development.* Established and chair the Enterprise Architecture Board with NDIT and agency representation. The EAB is responsible for impactful decision making across the enterprise, resolving any ambiguity with standards, insuring compliance with standards, acting as a formal escalation body and resolving requests for exemptions to standards. Reporting to the EAB are three committees, the Domain Architecture Committee, The Enterprise Architecture Committee and the Governance, Risk and Compliance Committee.* Responsible for the development of business roadmaps to eliminate technical debt through modernization and consolidation. Responsible for the development of technology roadmaps to ensure the modernization and introduction of capabilities for service delivery.* Responsible for Application Portfolio Management (APM) for the state.* Streamline business processes using BPMN 2.0 and ArchMate modeling.* Led the development of a formal RACI for NDIT and realigned teams and roles to eliminate responsibility overlap for both formal and functional roles, as well as for bodies such as the EAB. Integrated the development of new roles into the RACI.* Led the effort for artifact standardization and the review, publication and communication process. Identified gaps and created a prioritized method for developing and closing those gaps through the development of standards, blueprints and best practices for areas of responsibility.
