ABOUT MATT MANOLIDES

I\'m a long time member of the Google Maps team, having spent most of my time here focused on all things related to Satellite and Aerial imagery. At one point in time I was so hands on with the imagery database that if you showed me any random satellite image from Google Maps, I could usually make a pretty good guess as to where that image was from. These days I don\'t get to spend as much time combing through the database as I used to, but I get to spend a lot of time thinking about the next big leaps forward in Mapping/Geospatial, and building for that future.
