Several successful prosecutions in crimes against children investigations. Sergeant Millers inspiration was his father Stanley Miller who served as a US atty. under President Nixon. Served 11 and a half years as a Detective with LPD (December 1998-June 2010). 10 of those years Sergeant Miller was in charge of crimes against children division. Sergeant Miller Investigated approximately 3,700 cases with over arrests in 11 and a half years. 19 years total road patrol experience. Sergeant Miller\'s Law Expertise is in investigating Crimes against children/sex crimes and as a public Information officer, leader and mentor. Sergeant Miller is held in the highest regard as a leading crimes against children investigator and road supervisor by his peers. Certified Child Forensic Interviewer and a former Member of Crimes Against Children Task Force. Sergeant Miller has vast and extensive experience in investigating domestic violence, fraud, burglary, robbery, homicide, child death investigations, elderly abuse and animal abuse cases. 25 years as a public information officer working with the media on high profile cases on radio and television and taught in service training with LPD on Child Abuse protocol and polices. Taught class at IVY Tech in History of Juvenile Justice. Extensive public speaking experience. 5 years from member of Lawrence Police Department SWAT Team-served numerous warrants and responded to critical incidents. Extensive Court Trial experience. 15 years as a school resource security officer working in the Lawrence Township Schools. Appearances on Live PD show on A and E. Have done personal security details for Newt Gingrich, Bob Knight, Dennis Miller, Debra Winger, James Garner and Rob Reiner.
