After graduating from Newcastle in 1989, I started my career at Lloyd’s Register as a ship surveyor and never looked back. Since then I’ve worked across global shipyards and deep-dive structural analysis, with stints at BP Shipping and BP Exploration — including ULCC builds in Korea and serving as Technical Authority for the Schiehallion FPSO.I co-founded Marine Technical Limits in 2003 to deliver honest, practical solutions to complex FPSO repair and integrity challenges. We also created PYXIS, our digital platform for fast, defensible risk-based integrity management.Active in industry committees, I’m passionate about innovation, best practice, and mentoring the next generation of Naval Architects.
