Serve as primary media contact and public-facing spokesperson for the Fourth Judicial District. Draft and distribute news releases and other public statements. Facilitate requests for exhibits, interviews, and cameras in the courtroom. Counsel district court leadership, court administration leaders and judicial officers on strategic communications related decision-making. Plan and contribute to the court’s executive and organizational communications, including leader communications, talking points and memos.Lead public outreach efforts, including coordinating school visits and courtroom reservations. Organize swearing in ceremonies and lead media training for new judges.Serve as Fourth District website content lead, responsible for managing and updating public-facing website content, along with court information office. Manage district intranet (SharePoint) content.Oversee editorial content of 4th Dimension, the district’s internal newsletter and storytelling vehicle.Assist in the hiring and supervision of summer intern. Identify, assign, and track progress of projects to support the communications office’s work.Collaborate with a wide variety of internal and external civic, justice, and community partners.
