As a Scouting and Operations Intern with Prep Baseball Report, I contribute across multiple areas including scouting, analytics, event operations, and media. In this role, I evaluate players both in person and remotely, using advanced technologies such as Trackman and Blast to capture and analyze performance data. I also support player identification and rankings by producing detailed video labeling, scouting reports, and database entries that help coaches and organizations make informed decisions.Beyond scouting, I play a key role in the operations side of showcases and tournaments. Assisting with setup, timing, and breakdown to ensure events run smoothly. Each showcase presents unique challenges, and I have developed strong time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills to deliver a high-quality product for parents, players, coaches, and scouts.This experience has given me a comprehensive understanding of modern baseball evaluation workflows, blending data-driven insights with traditional scouting methods. It has also strengthened my ability to adapt under pressure, and communicate insights effectively across multiple platforms.
