I started off working full time with Crawley Borough Council\'s Sports development team as a (Lottery funded) project officer as a Active Crawley Officer for Chances4Change. This role being a project working with older adults, the BAME community, and mental health to improve increase their health and fitness. I later on moved to become a Wellbeing officer with the Wellbeing service.This role assists in promoting health & wellbeing (including sport and physical activity) as a vehicle through which Crawley Borough Council achieves its corporate objectives, through planning, implementing, enabling and developing a wide range of wellbeing programmes in order to increase participation in sport and physical activity and improve the level of health and wellbeing provision for all sections of the communityThe role involves working with key national and local partners to ensure the successful delivery and sustainability of projects.Through my role I have been very successful with various funding applications and major projects.I am passionate about improving people’s health and wellbeing, and possess excellent communication skills. I am responsible for managing the team’s social media channels including three Facebook, Instagram and Twitter page alongside the teams web pages and e newsletters channels
