Prepares annual budget and coauthors reports for the Internal Planning Committee, Trustee Finance Committee, and Board of Trustees- Collaborates with the CFO and Associate CFO on financial models, variance analysis, multiyear scenario planning, and general strategic and financial questions- Makes, executes and exercises independent judgment about budgetary and financial management policies- Helps lead Museum-wide multi-year strategic planning efforts, developing business unit growth plans, objectives and key results- Collaborates with senior Museum management and all Museum departments on a variety of financial matters- Leads quarterly meetings with a subset of departments, lending financial and strategic expertise and helping review expenditures and revenue goals- Supports special projects and strategic decisions. Serves as project lead and develops analyses and financial models for various projects across departments- Works proactively to improve the operating and financial performance of the Museum, rethinking existing strategies, processes, or structures, when necessary. Drives new initiatives from ideation to implementation- Acts as a leader for teaching and training and helping individual departments understand their financial profile in the context of overall Museum operations. Fosters communication and working relationships across departments in support of the Museum’s mission.
