Working as part of a duo of researchers within the \'Live\' team within BBC UX & D, seeking to create exciting and engaging Live experiences across the BBC for users across the UK and beyond- Led mixed-method research to evaluate location-saving UX on BBC Weather homepage, uncovering user preferences for forecast data, card design, and intuitive location management to inform product iteration and platform simplification strategy.Led affinity mapping and prioritisation workshops to elevate user research visibility, empowering design, product, and engineering teams to incorporate the user voice into strategic decision-making- Conducted research democratisation workshops, enabling stakeholders to independently drive evaluative research with minimal oversight, promoting a culture of self-sufficiency in user research- Partnered with product and design teams to identify new opportunities for product direction based on iterative user insights, fostering collaboration for continuous improvement- Led 12 in-depth interviews with News, Sport and Entertainment fans to uncover motivators and barriers to participating in live chat experiences, resulting in - Designed and analysed a customer experience survey with 400+ responses, revealing 5 key improvement recommendations from an experiment, leading to exploration of other avenues to better drive traffic to BBC live pages- Communicated actionable insights through tailored presentations, utilising video, quotes, graphs, and mock-ups to engage diverse stakeholders and drive impactful product decisions.
