Senior Vice President for Policy @Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC)

LISC is a non-profit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) that provides financial investments and technical assistance to community-based organizations seeking to revitalize distressed communities and provide support for low-income families. LISC’s programmatic priorities include affordable housing, economic development, small business supports, family income and wealth building, childcare, education, and community health and safety. I oversee the office that is responsible for developing LISC’s federal policy agenda (legislative and regulatory); communicating this agenda to LISC employees, board members, funders, and other stakeholders; and pursuing this agenda through engagement with Congressional offices, federal agency officials, trade associations and other industry partners. LISC\'s policy team is responsible for providing policy and advocacy support for several dozen Federal programs across seventeen different Federal agencies.
