About Matt Jefferies
I have always aspired to be a master builder. One who can use knowledge of design, construction, underwriting and permitting to analyze a project at different scales, while progressing it through its appropriate phases of development. With a background in architecture and construction management, I have naturally been drawn to project management. My current role at SOM is to ensure each quality designed project is executed within the clients overall development schedule and budget, provide clients with the necessary information to make critical decisions and to help them understand their projects impact on the surrounding community. My ultimate career goal is to acquire the knowledge base to effectively make informed decisions within the development process to increase efficiency and reduce risk during the acquisitions, entitlements, design, and construction phases. I am always looking for opportunities to increase this knowledge base.
