I lead The Water Council’s sustainability and stewardship initiatives, which initially focused on establishing the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) System globally with specific oversight of North America. I led the creation of the world’s first professional credentialing program for water stewardship professionals and made the business case for use of the International Water Stewardship Standard (“AWS Standard”) in the North American marketplace. From 20••••21, I served as the first and only director of the Alliance for Water Stewardship North America (AWS). I currently oversee The Water Council’s water stewardship programs which include: 1) training for sustainability professionals; 2) advisory services for water intensive organizations; and 3) administration of the WAVE: Water Stewardship Verified program - the world\'s only enterprise-wide water verification protocol. In short, I work with organizations across the globe to address water uses, impacts and risks - all types from dairies to data centers. Additionally, I am working with stakeholders across North America to develop regional \"one water\" approaches for healthy water-intensive businesses and healthy watersheds.
