As a board director, I play an important role in shaping and delivering the sustainable growth of Hydrock’s integrated engineering design, energy, and sustainability consultancy business. My in-depth experience means I\'m best placed to look at strategically significant and complex multidisciplinary projects, bringing together all the strands of the business that deliver the most value to our clients. My expertise in due diligence at pre-planning stage, translates particularly well to the development of future communities. I provide big picture thinking for strategic masterplan developments, ensuring they are sustainable and deliver the best outcomes for our clients and end-users, with the spotlight firmly on climate adaptation, protecting communities, buildings and infrastructure in the face of climate change impacts. I mentor the leadership of our Innovation Delivery division, which supports the improvement of our business operations, harnessing the creativity of our people to drive differentiation and innovation. I bring my knowledge of the market and the needs of our clients to the table to help shape the products and digital innovations that we create, ready to take to market. In collaboration with our CEO and the Board, I act as a custodian of the award-winning culture that we have developed and are known for. Having been with Hydrock for 20 years\', the culture and values of the business are intrinsic to what makes Hydrock so special, which is why I feel passionate about upholding our culture as the company expands and reaches its potential. In addition, I actively support the development of our people through our range of learning and development programmes from graduate to director level, ensuring we have the most qualified and competent staff to deliver our clients’ projects. In my role, I oversee our relationships with a number of key clients and major frameworks. I work closely with them to develop and nurture these relationships and to provide strategic oversight on related key projects, including those related to multi-layered residential markets, such as the later living sector.
