As a Managing Partner at Ironwood, I am responsible for leading and managing the Corporate Risk & Insurance division and expanding the company\'s revenues by producing and managing commercial risk management and upper-middle market accounts throughout the US and internationally. This includes real estate management, development, construction, media/communications, manufacturing, restaurant/hospitality, healthcare, and private equity industries.Being on the Executive Team at Ironwood, I share management responsibilities and the commitment to helping provide opportunities for our customers and employees throughout their financial lives. I bring expertise, judgment, and leadership to help make responsible decisions for all of our stakeholders.I also serve as a Board Member of the Ironwood Charitable Foundation. We have made numerous grants and contributions to local, regional and national non-profit and service organizations including Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Shepard Center, Wellspring Living, Boys & Girls of Metro Atlanta, Marcus Autism Center, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Young Life, Georgia Conservancy, Trinity Community Ministries, Kingdom Kids, Visiting Nurse Health System, United Hospice Foundation and BreakThrough Atlanta.

   Matt Hene is Co-President of MMA-Atlanta. Matt is actively involved with all operations including budgeting, employee engagement and advancement, business development, strategic planning and growth initiatives for the office. Matt specializes in real estate management and development, construction, restaurant/hospitality, and media and communications industries. Matt leads his team in assessing, identifying, and evaluating a company\'s operation and exposure to a financial loss, including: operational risks, technological risks, financial risks, market-related risks, and consumer-related risks. He then leads the team effort to design and negotiate an insurance program to facilitate his client’s growth strategy, along with deploying risk management programs such as Safety & Loss Control and Claims Management services to mitigate, minimize, and manage the probability and impact that an event can have on his client’s business.Matt also serves on MMA Southeast\'s Executive Leadership Team where he collaborates with key stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives, enhance operational efficiency, and foster a culture of excellence within the region.
