As the Datacenter Tech Manager for the UKWEST region DC facility, my primary responsibility is to ensure the successful delivery of top-notch cloud hosting services to Microsoft\'s product groups, including Azure, O365 (Including Teams), Exchange, Bing, Express Route, and Microsoft\'s corporate infrastructures. To fulfill this role, I lead an experienced team of on-site engineers who are well-versed in the continuously evolving landscape of site services and deployment activities.One of my key accountabilities is the scheduling and coordination of all Microsoft site-related customer engineering (CE) activities with the landlord. This involves effectively managing the timeline and resources to ensure smooth and efficient execution of projects, minimizing any potential disruptions to services. By maintaining a strong relationship with the landlord, I ensure that we have the necessary support and cooperation to meet our objectives.Additionally, I am responsible for overseeing all site-specific Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Key Reports (OKRs). This entails closely monitoring and analyzing the performance metrics outlined in the SLAs to ensure that we are meeting or exceeding the agreed-upon service standards. Furthermore, I work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that address any areas for improvement identified through the OKRs.By effectively managing the team, coordinating with the landlord, and monitoring SLAs and OKRs, I strive to maintain a high level of service excellence and operational efficiency within the UKWEST region DC facility.
