ABOUT MATT HARVEY
I am a qualified chartered accountant with four years working in M&A across corporate finance, industry and transaction services roles. I currently work as a Corporate Finance Manager for Grant Thornton where I focus on M&A within the Healthcare and BSS sectors, regularly working with both trade and private equity processes. I previously worked for KPMG in financial due diligence and in-house M&A at Adler and Allan during their sale to Goldman Sachs Alternatives. As a Transaction Services Assistant Manager at KPMG I worked on numerous deals across a range of industries including food and drink, TMT, real estate, marketing, healthcare and manufacturing, providing both buy and sell-side advice to trade and private equity firms. At Adler and Allan I worked alongside the Head of M&A and members of the board to help identify and analyse potential acquisitions and build an M&A pipeline prior to our acquisition by Goldman Sachs. Outside of work I enjoy travelling, with some of my most recent trips including Vietnam, Bolivia, Peru, Thailand and Japan. I have also completed the Great North Run half marathon four times and counting!
